"New Beginnings"

Change:  To become different or undergo alteration; Something different:

Change is just a part of life, and that is what's happening with our chapter.  We now have a new CD, AD and new format for newsletters (if I can figure it out).  And as with all new beginnings we know there will be challenges, victories, defeats, and mistakes; after all it is "New".  The thing is we need to pull together through all of the above so our chapter will stay strong.  With change there will be new ideas, and new ways of doing things.  These changes will not all come from our director, but from all who really care about Chapter F, and it's success.  Our chapter needs new blood, as in we need new members.  We need involvement from each of our members.  We need to ride more as a group.  Did you notice, all of these needs require you?  We all have lives outside Chapter F, I know this, but you are also a part of this chapter and because we are a small chapter, a very important part!

Don't forget... we ride for fun!

News & Views from our CD

Here we go again.  A little late maybe.  But, that wouldn't be me if it were on time.  Chapter "F" has had a Chapter Director change again and this time it is my lovely wife, Marilyn and me.  I hope we can do as well as our past Directors have done.  I want to thank John and Janean for all that they have done for the chapter and me.  Not only have they been good Directors, but they have been good friends as well.  I wish them well in the days ahead.

There has has been a change at the AD's position.  Olan and Regina are now taking care of that responsibility.  They are not strangers to that position, having served in it in the past.  If you want a job done right you get good people to do it.  That describes Olan and Regina.  Always giving it 110 percent!  You know the job will get done when you give it to them.  I'm looking forward to working with them in the days ahead.

Our chapter has changed over time.  We don't ride as much as we used to and I guess it is because we are all much busier than we have been in the past.  I miss the time we were able to spend together.  Maybe the world will slow down and the rides will become more frequent again.  Of course the people in the group have changed also Some have gone from this life to the next and some have different interests and no longer enjoy riding.  Some just want to do a different type of riding than our group.  The 'core' group has been together for a long time and I still look forward to getting together fro eating, fellowship and riding.

With your help, we will have a great chapter and a lot of fun.  If you have any ideas about what you would like to see the chapter do, let us know.  As an old administrator I like to get input from the people I work with.  So, let's have some ideas.  Until next time, ride safe and have fun.
